Jeremiah’s Ranch is a community of homes in a ranch setting for developmentally disabled adults in North San Diego County that is designed to encourage personal growth, foster meaningful relationships, and provide peace-of-mind to their loved ones that they are well cared for throughout their adult lives.
Our primary goal is for our children to live as independently as possible as they reach their fullest potential. We are keenly aware that our children may outlive us, which would be fantastic, yet creates the need for us to ensure they have the best possible care when we are gone.
Another goal is to have a Community Center to be able to work with families with younger children. Fallbrook has hundreds of families whose children have disabilities and we have seen great things get accomplished when we come together. It does not matter which disability is being represented. When the fammilies come together there is an instat understanding amongst us which is both priceless and powerful.
Parents of children with disabilities have a goal to be very active in the Jeremiah’s Ranch community as they watch their children grow and reach their fullest potential.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
(Jeremiah 29:11-13 NIV)
